When Richard Blizzard showed his toys on BBCTV's Pebble Mill at One' he was astonished by the response. Thousands of requests reached him within a few days asking for details of how to make his toys. His first reaction was to produce a simple book covering a small selection of toys. But it quickly became evident that there was a much greater need for a book showing a wider range of toys with cutting lists and clear step by step instructions integrated with the carefully designed plans. The toys could then be made even by those inexperienced in woodworking. This is the result.
Making Wooden Toys includes both simple and more complicated toys so that many people who have not made wooden toys before can do so confidently.
